Analyzes of Aquatic Ecologically Sensitive Arfcas along Yangtze River
The ever-increasing problem between exploitation and environmental protection goes with the expansive research about global environmental change and human involvement. As a result, growing concern has expressed about the studies about ecologically sensitive areas. Since 1990 s, the main human activity include constructing Three Gorges Dam and the social, economic development along the Yangtze river as well as the implementation of Big-Step strategy of the western area. All the utilization of large-scale in these valleys and rivers has in some degree brought about the deterioration in the selfadjusting and self-restoring ability of the Yangtze river, with the enhancement of its sensitivity at the same time. We analyzes four main reasons which make forming ecologically sensitive area, including overcultivation, over-breeding, over-fishing and the unreasonable utilization of water resources. Relevant countermeasures and suggestions are advanced in terms of ecologically sensitive areas in the fields of headwaters, riversides, estuaries and wildlife s habitats respectively. Only if the ecologically sensitivity of Yangtze river was thoroughly discussed, acceptable developmental strategies could be adopted. Pertinent protective measures been realized, so the reconciliation between human and nature, economic effect and environmental protection, social development and ecological basis would become much more than a dazzling slogan.
