Analysis of River Regime Changes and Riverbank Failure along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province after the Three Georges Project Operation

摘要：

After the operation of the Three Georges Project, the river regime along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province changes obviously and riverbank failure intensity grows. It brings about unfavorable influence on flood control, navigation channel safety, waterfront utilization and socioeconomic development along the river. The hydraulic and sediment features along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province are conducted in this paper. In addition, the recent changes of river regime and riverbank failure are surveyed and the control measures of riverbank failure are put forward. The author hopes to call the relevant departments pay more attention to the situations of river regime and riverbank failure along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province.
