Water Resources Regime Analysis under the Changing Environment in Jiangsu Province
The natural resources change dramatically as a result of the increasing influences of human activities on environment during the past decades. So the water resources, as irreplaceable necessity of life, has become from the lifeline of the agriculture to that of the industry, the urban life and the national economical and ecological constructions, having profound impacts on all social aspects. This article analyzed the long-term data series of precipitation, evaporation, water discharge and water quality, based on which investigation of the influences of climate change and human activities on surface and underground water resources and water quality were made. In addition, this article forecasted critical water resources elements, such as precipitation, evaporation and human activities, and water resource amount in different frequency years (20％ 、50％ 、75％ 、95％ were predicted for the planning year of 2020 and 2030. ). The study provided the basic information needed for water resources development, utilization, management, protection and the policy-making in order to achieve the sustainable development of both the water resources and the eco-society.
