摘要：

Depolymerization of Cellulose and Lignocellulose is the key step in a biorefinery. Recent progress in mechanically activated catalytic depolymerization allows high yields of sugars which can be converted further to chemicals and fuels. The presentation will highlight recent developments in this field.
