Electricity storage: Status, remaining challenge and application
The use of renewable energy and conservation of fossil fuels have become important strategies of the world to maintain sustainable development. Largescale and high-efficiency electricity energy storage technology is urgently needed to remove the random and intermittent nature of many renewable energy sources and to increase the compatibility of the renewable energy with the grid.
