SUNKEN GARDEN: REMARKABLE EXAMPLE OF IRANIAN SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE

摘要：

Increasing population has led to more consumption of energy, causing the energy crisis and global environmental changes. Thats why more and more Sustainable Architecture is become important to the world. Following its solutions to reduce damaging effects of human activities on environment, Traditional architecture can propose many ways to achieve this because traditional architecture with minimal manipulation in the environment is able to bring maximum benefit. Sustainable architecture concept In Iranian traditional architecture has a unique status. Climate and climate issues has had a major impact on the performance of traditional architecture.
