SMART WALL DESIGN BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ABSORBING CELL
Expansion of technology in different fields makes it necessary to provide new sources of energy in order to make fewer damages into environment. This article tries to show a new way of collecting energy in cold climate. According to location of Iran at the north hemisphere we can obtain lots of solar energy especially by using south side of buildings. For this purpose we used a kind of smart facade on the south sides of buildings which have the ability to change its color. We have used a new kind of facade which has consisted of two glass layers with a cavity between and two electric contacts on the top and bottom. The middle cavity has filled with a material which becomes bright in high temperature and dark by using an electrical current that cause polarization in material.
