DIRECT GROWTH OF GRAPHENE/SINGLE-WALLED CARBON NANOTUBE HYBRIDS FROM LAYERED DOUBLE HYDROXIDES FOR ENERGY STORAGE
In the past two decades, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene have attracted extensive attentions due to their unique mechanical, thermal, and electronic properties. Besides, the one-dimensional (1D) CNTs and two-dimensional (2D) graphene are suggested as ideal building blocks for carbon-based nanostructures and devices through the bottom-up strategy. Thus, the effective combination of 1D CNTs and 2D graphene through direct growth method becomes a hot topic and has been extensively studied. However, until now, the fabrication of graphene/single-walled CNTs (SWCNTs) is still a great challenge for researchers.
