RESEARCH ON THE MODIFICATION OF THE CARBON ELECTRODE MATERIAL, ELECTRODE REACTION MECHANISM AND ELECTROCHEMICAL KINETIC CHARACTER FOR THE VANADIUM REDOX FLOW BATTERY
The vanadium redox flow battery, sometimes abbreviated as VRB, is an energy storage technology with significant potential for application in load leveling in small grids and stand-alone photovoltaic systems. As the electrode material of VRB, the graphite felt plays an important role in the power density and energy efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the electrochemical activity and find out the electrode reaction mechanism and the electrochemical kinetic character.
