UTILIZATIONOF DIFFERENTFUELSIN SCWR

The lattice and core neutronics analysis has been performed for the thermal spectrumsupercritical water-cooled reactor (SCWR) with different fuel types, including UO2, (UPu)O2,multigroup Monte Carlo core burnup calculation code are used for the reactor modeling. Themain issues discussed in this paper are the conversion ratio of different fuel types and theirburnup performance in the core. A middle size square assembly design with annual moderatorchannel is considered. The analysis gives some useful information for the fuel design of SCWR,although the further consideration would be required.
