INVESTIGATION ON THE SLIDING PRESSURE STARTUP OF SCWR
A research on the preliminary sliding pressure startup scheme of supercritical water-cooled reactor inCGNPC(CGN-SCWR) is presented. A numerical analysis of detailed thermal-hydraulic behavior instart process is performed by using advanced reactor sub-channel analysis software ATHAS. Thecomparative analysis of the maximum cladding temperature and core power of fuel assembly in thewhole start process was investigated. The results show that from the view of thermal-hydraulic,proposed startup scheme meets the design requirements.
