Experimental study of heat transfer of water in vertically-upward internally-ribbed tubes at supercritical pressures
In this paper, heat transfer characteristics of water in vertically-upward internally-ribbed tubes atsupercritical pressures were investigated experimentally over a range of parameters, such asand effects of experimental data were analyzed. It was shown that the enhanced heat transferappears in the large specific heat region. Increasing the mass velocity can improve the heat transfer, whereas the heat transfer is diminished with increase of heat flux or pressure. Different tubestructures have different heat transfer performances. Correlations of heat transfer coefficients atsupercritical pressures are also presented.
