COLLISION-PROOF EQUIPMENTS DESIGN AND ANALYSIS FOR XIANGJIANG RIVER EXTRA LARGE BRIDGE
Several Collision-proof equipments for the piers to prevent the collision between the bridge and ship are studied. Considering the integration of local actual main ship type and crash conditions, Using UG, VPG, LS-DYNA finite element software, the numerical collision performance of different devices are estimated comparatively, so as to determine the right solution for the safety of the bridge.
