NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON LEFP FORMATION WITH VARIABLE WALL THICKNESS LINEAR SEMICIRCLE LINER
By ANSYS/LS_DYNA software, the effect law of LEFP formation with configuration parameters of shaped charge of variable wall thickness linear semicircle liner was simulated numerically in the ways of single ridge and double ridges initiation. The study shows that the head speed of variable wall thickness linear semicircle liner LEFP arrives more than 3900m/s, and the LEFP has the characteristic of well formation, no dispersible, energy concentration, high energy efficiency and so on. Additionally, the depth of hole is more 14.8% than the depth of hole which is penetrate by equal wall thickness linear semicircle liner LEFP. These study results provide important reference to the design of warhead.
