A NOVEL PROGRAMMABLE POWER LOAD MODEL FOR URT VEHICLE BASED ON PSCAD
This paper presents a novel programmable power load model for URT vehicle with on-board energy storage system based on PSCAD/EMTDC. The model consists of four modules such as power load main circuit, parameters input and load, vehicle calculation and control and on-board energy storage system control. Employing the field data of efficiency and velocity as the original input data, a vehicle simulation and test based on URT parameters were carried out with the model. The simulation data are generally consistent with the field measured data, which proves the novel power load model can simulate the energy demanded characteristics of vehicles.
