A MODEL SIMULATION AND KEY TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS ABOUT DIGITAL ANTENNA TRACKING BASED ON SPREAD SPECTRUM SYSTEM

Compared to traditionally using the Chirp signal, a new antenna tracking method based on Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum(DSSS) is proposed. Two PN sequences with good orthogonality are applied for the quadratic modulation of baseband signals (GPS information). The new method brings not only Gain of Spread Spectrum, but also a capability of data transfer for GPS Information. The former ensures antenna fast capturing the target, while the latter can be used in digital tracking. A number of flight tests demonstrate that the new antenna tracking method brings much more reliability.
