Subcellular Localization Statistics of a Dilated-Cardiomyopathy-related Biological Network
In our previous work a workflow was introduced to analyze the subcellular localization of a MUPP1related protein-protein interaction network using the CELLmicrocosmos Pathwaylntegration (CmPI). Starting point of this approach was a human sample associated with Dilated Cardiomyopathy which is a major cause of death in many industrialized nation. Based on a logical analysis, the subcellular localization of the pathway was predicted and mapped onto a threedimensional cell environment. But the workflow leading to the definition of the final localizations as well as the analysis methods has had its drawbacks. Therefore, in this work a new interactive visualization method is presented, enabling a fast and intuitive way to analyze and locate the MUPPrelated pathway, the Localization Statistics. In addition it will be shown - based on a new data integration of the used databases - that a prediction from our previous approach has meanwhile been proven.
