Structural characterization of NaX zeolite synthesised by solution-hydrothermal methord from Lithium slag

NaX-1 zeolite was prepared successfully from lithium slag by solution-hydrothermal method. The texture properties of synthetic NaX-1 sample and commercial NaX zeolite were characterized by XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption and TG-DTA. Otherwise, the vacuum gravimetric method is used to determine adsorption water isotherms of NaX and NaX-1 zeolites. The results show that the synthetic NaX-1 has high relative crystallinity without mixed crystal. Its surface area reaches to 825m2/g and micropore volume is about 0.276cm3/g-1. The maximum adsorption water capacity of NaX-1 zeolite reaches to 0.3208kg/kg approachs to NaX zeolite(0.3303kg/kg). Moreover, the synthetic NaX-1 zeolite has a good thermal stability.
