A New Method to the Realization of n-D Fornasini-Marchesini State-Space Model

摘要：

A new method based on function analysis is presented in this paper, which can generate an F-M model realization for a given SISO n-D system with lower order than the existing method given by Alpay and Dubi’s. By taking into account of the structural properties of the given transfer function or transfer matrix, it is possible to construct a realization with much lower order. Nontrivial example is given to illustrate the basic idea as well as the effectiveness of the proposed method.
