ToA estimation for UWB localization basing on peak-detection
In this paper the continuous and discrete ML criteria used in UWB localization will be discussed. Two ToA estimation methods using ML criteria basing on peakdetection will be studied deeply. In search and subtract algorithm, according to the ML criteria, we adjust the observation parameter which is used to calculate the amplitude estimation. We also propose a quick searching method and two corresponding stopping criteria for this algorithm. A cluster-peak-detection-based algorithm will be shown in the paper. We also will discuss its stopping criteria problem.
