Comparison of Electrical Coal Pipeline Transport and Rail Transport Based on Social Costs

摘要：

So far in China, since the capacity of railway transportation is in shortage, especially for the transportation of electrical coal, its interesting to study the best way to overcome this problem. Through the comparison of the financial and social cost between two kinds of transportation, namely pipeline and railway, the authors argue that, in a long-distance, large-scale coal transportation, pipeline transportation is a more environmentally friendly and economical option.
