A Comprehensive Analysis Method for the Economic Impact of the Extreme Weather Disasters: a CGE Model Approach
In recent yea rs the ext reme weathe r disasters are occurring m ore and more frequently, which caused a great im pact on the economy. After comparing with 5 kinds of m ethodsi nt hee valuation 1 osses of natural disasters field, that is comprehensive evaluation model, econometric model, 10 model, SAM model and CGE m odel, this paper co ntributes a c omprehensive analysis strateg y in con dition of different situ ations. Further, C GE m odel has i ts ad vantage i n sy stematic, structural, non-lin er, quantitative an d seen ario an alysis, then this paper focuses on simulation process for 4 stages of disasters responses, whic h are very-short ru n, short run, m edium ru n a nd 1 ong r un, a nd desi gn t he corresponding character of the closures, parameters and shocks. In the end, an e xample of how t o est imate ice-snow disaster in Hunan province in 2008 is present.
