Research on Publics Perception of Risk Propagation Process of Nuclear Power Plant

Presently, China has proved a remarkable progress in nuclear power, under which circumstance this paper is written to make a study about the consequences and influences of two well-known nuclear accidents in history by way of questionnaire. Having analyzed the publics cognition about the risks of nuclear industry, the author concludes that as the crisis spread, the information content will reduce or increase. Besides, a correction coefficient is also put forward to revise the risk formula frequently used in engineering. Finally, the crisis management is proposed for controlling coefficient in field of nuclear power.
