Facility Location Problem considering Facility Failure Scenario

The facility in the system may fail and the amount of facility failure is uncertain. In this paper, the failure scenario of facility is subdivided. Two bilevel programming models are established under the condition of complete and incomplete information respectively, which study the problem of location in the case of the worst facility failure. The greedy dropping heuristic algorithm and the improved greedy dropping heuristic algorithm are used to analyse the models. The models are applied to the location for military logistics distribution centers and compared with the location model without considering facility failure scenario from two aspects. Example analysis proves that facility location models which considering failure scenario have a lower expect cost, can save cost and have practical significance.
