Study on Simulation of Passenger Evacuation based on the Cellar Automata in the Subway Station

In recent years, with the development of city in China, the growth of urban population has brought about huge pressure on the urtan traffic especially public traffic. The subway as a convenient, handy, comfort, safe, and environmental, large volume of public transport, has become the most effective means to solve the traffic problem many major cities faced. The safety of subway station is more and more important. This research is to simulate passenger evacuation in the subway station (Xidan station on Beijing subway line one)based on the cellar automata model. The results show that, B is likely to cause congestion; leading work should be strengthened.
