Dynamic Evolution of the Transmission Contact Networks of Infectious Diseases for Public Health Emergency Response
Outbreak of emerging infectious diseases is important and difficult to the public health emergency management. It is a critical challenge to closely track the evolution of infectious diseases spread among students. This paper describes a prototype system for building transmission contact networks of infectious diseases and extracting the characteristic parameters of spread process based on the real time epidemiological survey data. The technique used is to employ a dynamic complex network technique to rapidly reproduce the process that how the infectious diseases spread among population. Four major methods concerned in the system are epidemiology, system dynamics, complex networks and dynamic visualization. The system can provide fast and efficient technical support to scientific decision aids and improve the emergency response capabilities for public health emergency response.
