A Study on Modeling and Simulation of Supply of Emergency Resources Based on System Dynamics

Emergency resources supply includes reserved emergency resources calls and mobilization. This research uses system dynamics and engineering simulation to model and show up the supply of emergency resource. Simulation results show that the supply of emergency resources is determined by the demand. Both the volumes of call and mobilization are used to fulfill the deviation of call and mobilization. Accumulation of resources, which is also called excessive call/mobilization, is caused by the interaction between deviation of demand and delay of supply.
