LED: Light Extraction Techniques

摘要：

This paper reviews various light extracting techniques employed to extract light from the light generation region of LED. To disrupt the total internal reflection and thus avoid light-guiding, many structures are described and this includes the structures fabricated on the substrate itself. The patterned substrates have double benefits and this is explained.
