Analysis of the interface between soluble and vacuum deposited organic layers in hybrid blue device
In this paper, we have focused on the improvement of the hybrid type of blue device which is consisted of soluble process and vacuum deposit process. The interface between soluble and evaporated layer can be crucial factor in the hybrid device. According to the soluble material type, the surface morphology was changed and it showed the strong relation with the performance. We introduced the thin protect layer to compensate the film morphology of soluble layer by evaporation process. The role of the introduced layer is better hole injection based on improved surface morphology. The device performance of hybrid blue device was significantly improved by controlling the interface between soluble and vacuum deposited process layer.
