Concept for Eliminating HOT SPOT Mura in Edge-Type LED TV BL
A novel approach to eliminate HOT SPOT Mura, which is commonly observed in Edge-type LED TV, has been developed. Due to the necessary of LED package number is getting less, and narrower bezel of LED TV is required, the difficulty of eliminating HOT SPOT Mura is also getting hard. In this study, the approach is to provide a concept for eliminating HOT SPOT Mura for edge LED TV by theoretical simulation to get optimized optical dimension of V-Cut structure in incident surface of light. And final check the improvement by experiments.
