Measurement of Anchoring Energy of Stacked Alignment Layers
The anchoring energy of stacked alignment layers is studied in this paper. Our measurement follows from an approach by deriving the saturation voltage of a slab of liquid crystal to determine its surface anchoring energy. The composite anchoring effect is investigated in terms of rubbing depth, rubbing times, and PIs baking temperature.
