A Study of Measuring Method for Energy Consumption of Electronic Paper Displays
Energy consumption of electronic paper (E-paper) were measured by using a trigger source to externally trigger two PXI DMMs to sample the DC voltage and DC current signals of E-paper display simultaneously, and then software calculate energy consumption by integrating the power consumed during measuring period. Evidence showed that by suitable synchronized sampling frequency (>10 Hz), a precise energy consumption of E-paper display could be obtained. Besides, the suitable test patterns of energy consumption and measuring method could effectively analyze and estimate energy consumption of E-paper display.
