A Compact Integrated Hydrogenated Amorphous Silicon Gate Driver for TFT-LCD
A compact integrated hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) gate driver for TFT-LCD is proposed in this paper. The new gate driver is characterized by using only one driving TFT to pull up and pull down the output level. Taking advantage of the RC delay between the near and far terminal of the gate line, fast discharging speed can be obtained. Simulation results of the dynamic performances show that the proposed gate driver owns the merits of fast speed and compact layout.
