Study of Interactive Display System Based on Hand-gesture Recognition

This system controls cursor movement with handgesture recognition and makes human-computer interaction more flexible. The DSP chip TMS320DM643 is used as image processing hardware platform. This paper studies DSP/BIOS real-time operating system and CCS development environment. The system is composed of four parts: image capture, hand detection, hand tracking, result output. CAMSHIFT tracking algorithm is applied in the system to realize real-time handgesture tracking.
