A Method for Improving the Convergence Characteristics of the Kernel LMS Algorithm based on the Repeating Method
In this paper, we propose a method for improving the convergence characteristics of the kernel least mean square (KLMS), especially, kernel nomalized LMS (KNLMS) adaptive algorithm. The proposed method is based on the concept of the repeating method for the linear LMS adaptive algorithm which uses the information of the past input and desired signals. We derive a method for applying it to the KLMS algorithm, and propose an efficient implementation method. We confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method through the computer simulations.
