An Efficient Classification Based Image Interpolation Algorithm

摘要：

This paper proposes a new classification based image interpolation method for constructing high resolution (HR) images. Firstly, the Canny operator is employed to get accurate edge pixels. Then, the pixels to be interpolated are divided into three classes where each uses a different interpolation method. Simulation results indicate that the quality of HR images interpolated with our method outperform others in terms of PSNR.
