A Preliminary Study of Simultaneous Multi-slice Imaging technique in T1-Weighted MRI
In this paper, the application of simultaneous multislice excitation and acquisition technique in T,Weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at low field scanner was investigated. The solutions for simultaneous multi-slice excitation with different thickness, and reduction of long T, effects on the separation of overlapped slices were discussed. Computer simulations and experimental results show that these methods can effectively solve the limitation of slice number within a relatively short repetition time in low-field Tt-weighted MRI.
