Measurement of hepatic functional reserve based on pulse dye density analysis
In order to solve problems in conventional hepatic functional reserve analysis, such as multiple blood sampling, long time consuming and needing for concentration of hemoglobin, current study presents a new method to analysis hepatic function reserves based on pulse dye density. Indocycanine green was injected to patients veins. Then, dual-wavelength pulse wave data were collected from patients finger with photoplethysmography sensor which contained 940nm and 805nm light-emitting diodes. The rate of concentration changes of indocycanine in blood could be calculated by analyzing pulse wave data. By comparing experimental findings, the relative error of the method is less than 5%. Under the premise of simplified procedure, the method meet the purpose of non-invasive liver function reserve detection, provides reference materials fro preoperative preparation.
