Reliability of Dynamic Ventilation System Based on Fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis

Mine ventilation system is an important subsystem of the mine production system. The research on the reliability of ventilation system has great practical meaning and theoretical value. In the absence of adequate relia-bility data, Fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis offers an important way for the study of mine ventilation system reliabili-ty. To study the reliability of mine ventilation system, the fuzzy Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) was established for a mine in Gansu, with triangular fuzzy number as basic-event occurrence rate and mine ventilation system fault as top-event, based on perfect system composition. The results show that the large number of minimal cut sets is high to 549 for the first grade event named monitoring the feedback system failure mainly. The reliability of top-event and the first grade event is low, with (0. 009, 0. 014, 0. 009) of top-event occurrence rate and 2. 3% of the most value. The highest fuzzy degree of weight is 0. 0843 lying in the monitoring the feedback system fail-ure, with the remainders varying from 0. 0050 to 0. 0100.
