Mine Ventilation Measurements at Jisuo Colliery and Analytical Simulations

Functions of Mine ventilation are delivering fresh air flow for mine workers at each working face, diluting exhaust gases and dust and cooling down hot underground environment. The analysis of mine ventilation flows and various thermal conditions at a coal mine in Jisuo, China have been done with a mine ventilation simulator MIVENA in considering the measurements of flow resistance carried at the mine airways. Furthermore, it has been found the possibility of further optimizing the ventilation flows by comparisons of the predicted data with the measured data.
