Investigation on the influence of Seasonal Variation on Coal Spontaneous Combustion of Baijiao Coal Mine
We analyzed correlative factor about energy exchange, temperature difference and coupled field of coal and air in the underground coal mine, combined theory about coal and oxygen combined of coal spontaneous combustion, deduced the relation of coal spontaneous combustion and leak intensity, temperature gradient and season change. It is concluded that the larger the temperature gradient between coal and air current, the more the leeway, and the more the air leak intensity. Then, we analyzed the connection of air temperature and the change of geography, time, season etc. Taking the monthly mean temperature in Yibin area for exemple. We summarized the difference character in temperature of deep coal and air stream: according to season, the temperature difference in spring are diminishing gradually, the least in summer, then, aggravating gradually in autumn, the most in winter, over the years. Finally, based on the statistics of 104 records of spontaneous combustion in Baijiao coal mine, we drew the conclusion that the probability of coal self-ignition is 59% in autumn and winter, 41% in spring and summer. The probability of spontaneous combustion in autumn and winter is larger than in spring and summer. The further research will be spontaneous combustion theory and control technology.
