Research on Gas Emission of Mining and Tunneling Faces Based on GIS
Gas is one of the important factors which threatens the safety production of coal mine, especially in some high-gas coal mine. The gas emission from mining and tunneling faces is not only affected by coal seam hosting, geological structure, mining and tunneling technology and production conditions but also affected by various information related to geographical coordinates. Based on GIS (Geographic Information System) and C++ Builder platform, and combining with the prediction performance-based method of gas emission prediction of mining and tunneling faces, a gas emission prediction system of coal mining and tunneling faces has been developed, which makes the gas emission prediction develop toward multi-parameter, multi-objective, multidimensional, and helps to solve the problems of large data and related to geographical coordinates in the process of gas emission prediction. It realizes the integration and visualization of gas emission prediction of mining and tunneling faces and safety management of coal mine. It also can guide scientifically the wind distribution and gas management of working faces in producing mine, and improve the accuracy, scientificity and intuitive of gas emission prediction of mining and tunneling faces.
