Economic Evaluation and Comparison on Environmental Impact of Mining Method
Ming method design is the core content of the design for underground metal mining deposits. It not only plays a decisive impact to the economic and technical indexes ore mining, but also determines the ecological environment damage result from ore mining. The traditional mining method selection just makes simple technical economy comparison between different mining methods, and pays no attention to the external economic effects difference. Base on project of Chenchao iron mine, this paper takes into account the environmental impact difference result from mining method, such as environment pollution, geologic hazard, tailings, etc, and gives an economic evaluation and comparison about the environmental effect between the Non-pillar sublevel mining method and filling method. It also points out that the environmental benefits of Non-pillar sublevel caving method are poor, and filling mining methods with better environmental economic benefits should be used. The research shows that the rational mining method can reduce the environmental resources damage and the threat to peoples life and property safety result from ore mining, and realizing mines economic, social and environmental coordinated development.
