Experiment research and one-dimensional numerical simulation of solute transmission in leaching processes
One-dimensional computing model describing the processes of solute transmission in leaching processes was developed based on the mechanism of advection, diffusion and chemical reaction, and the model was calculated in characteristic difference method. The curves of Fe 2+ concentration at different times and sites are obtained. Comparing the values of model calculation with the observed data, the results show that the numerical modelling can be used to simulate the rules of solute transmission during heap leaching processes.
