Research and application of biological oxidation metal refining craft under extreme environment
The engineering application of handling unwieldy gold mineral resources by using new technology for the treatment of microbial metallurgy has been used more widely, but application areas of this process are usually temperature moderate areas, while the application of microbial metallurgy process at home and abroad are very rare in extremely cold areas (winter extreme natural temperature -A1°C below). Changchun Gold Technology Institute of Chinas Gold Group technology center s CCGRI has got a successful application at latitude of 48° in extremely cold regions. Leaching rate has improved from less than 65% up to 94. 65% by using microorganism pretreatment, and integrated recovery rate on-site reached 93. 2% after the implementation, and the project is already running smoothly more than a year. The successful application of project has marked a significantly improvement in the biological oxidation technology, which filled up the domestic technical blank in this aspect.
