The Relationship among Non-Fossil Energy Consumption, Economic Growth and Coal Prices in China

摘要：

With the rapid economic growth, Chinese energy consumption sharply increased in recent years.To get sufficient energy, China has made a lot of efforts to develop non-fossil energy.This paper investigated the relationship among non-fossil energy consumption, economic growth, and coal price by cointegration and impulse respond function.The numerical results show that higher coal price will spur the development of non-fossil energy and has a positive effect on economic growth.
