Research on Scale and Structure of Integrated Transportation Network

It is important to study the scale and structure of integrated transportation network, as they are the bases of traffic demand prediction and network planning.Since Chinese policy of reform and opening, transportation and traffic system has developed dramatically, meanwhile the structure of transportation modes has changed a lot in China.This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of transportation network distribution of integrated transportation in China.Next, deficiencies on current methods and models for comprehensive transportation network planning combining with international experience and inspiration of development are summarized.Then a novel Integrated transportation network is proposede with the objective of the minimization of the transportation expense, time, investment or end vironmental influence and, a Fuzzy liner model is established under the constraint conditions of the demand structure for passenger and freight transportation and the structure of modes of transport.A optimum compromise solution is drawn for integrated transportation network model with multiple objectives network by using ant colony algorithm.The results show that under the restrictions of the transportation structure and the scale range, the optimal combined scale of the multimodal network can be determined in any region aiming at minimizing the generalized cost.
