Recycling and Disposal of Scrap Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Glass

With the rapid development of IT technology and the improvement of peoples life quality, the amazing speed of IT products changing has lead to an increase of the electronic wastes in which scrap cathode ray tubes occupies a large proportion. Cathode ray tube glass is one kind of glass with high content of heavy metal lead, which belongs to hazardous wastes, and thus has to be disposed of safely and reasonably. In this study, the suggestions for disposing scrap cathode ray tube glass were recommanded, and at the same time the resolutions had been addressed. The black and white CRT glass and color CRT glass should be disposed of separately, and several ways are needed to carry out at the same time.
