Study on WEEE Resource Recycling Rate in China

摘要：

WEEE not only contains hazardous substances, but also contains lots of useful resources. Resource recycling rate is an important indicator for recycling enterprises on examining the level of resource recycling. Developed countries and areas have set up appropriate resource recycling rate for management of WEEE treatment and recycling. Since more focusing on pollution prevention management, Chinese legislation for WEEE recycling does not provide an appropriate resources recycling rate, causing the process and depth spotty among dismantling and treatment enterprises. In this context, on the basis of extensive research and analysis, China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute (CHEARI) proposed limited value and target value of WEEE resource recycling rate which is suitable for China, to provide technical support and reference for the relevant government departments in China.
