Beyond Limited Freedom: Supports and Constraints on Translator’s Creative Treason
The translator’s subjectivity and translation constraints are interwoven in the process of translating. Constraints prove their values and trigger the vitality of translator’s subjectivity. In a broad way, the factors supporting and constraining translator’s creative treason are summarized and exemplified to display that the translator is capable of going beyond limited freedom.
